Common FAQs
Will Vitargo make me feel bloated?
Vitargo is a unique, patented carbohydrate clinically proven to leave your stomach over 2x faster (than sugar and maltodextrin carbohydrates). So, it does not stay in your stomach long. In some cases, bloating can happen when you drink too much too soon. Try 2-3 mouthful sips every 10-15 minutes before and during activity to fuel you as you go.

On early morning training or competition, drink Vitargo on an empty stomach or over an hour from your last solid food meal. Remember, Vitargo is food. The difference is Vitargo is absorbed in a few minutes compared to hours of digestion of solid carbs.
Can't I just eat pasta, bread or other carbohydrate foods to get the same result?
Yes, you can. However, if you are pre-fueling before training, you will need to eat those foods many hours prior to training to ensure that the carbs are digested and, in your bloodstream, liver and muscle cells to fuel your training. If you eat them right before training you will not have fueled your muscles, and you will most likely feel too full or heavy to train or compete well.
When I mix my Vitargo drink, it forms a gel in the bottom of the bottle. Am I doing something wrong?
Vitargo is a huge carbohydrate molecule compared to ordinary carbohydrates used in sports drinks. Because of this, Vitargo is more difficult to dissolve in water. Use a whisk ball in your shaker bottle, and fill the bottle/shaker with 200-250ml of water, then add Vitargo powder and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Add 400-600 ml of water and shake for another 10 seconds. Always make sure to partially fill with water BEFORE adding Vitargo and not the other way around.
How much Vitargo do I actually need?
Athletes have different body types, sweat rates and train or compete in different ambient conditions. In endurance events, try to replenish 25-30% of your predicted energy calories burned per hour. For example, if your energy calorie burn rate is 700 calories per hr., 30% of that is 210 calories. Then use this formula below:
- 1 level scoop is 92.5 energy calories.
- 210 calories divided by 92.5 = 2.27 scoops
In this case, you can try a little less than 2 and ½ scoops per hour of Vitargo mixed in 500-750 ml of water. (follow proper mixing steps)
